Seat Leon Supercopa Preview #1 |

Our SEAT Leon Supercopa mod is making good progress. The most skins from the 2009 season of the german championship are almost completed. Now we are looking for talented and motivated painters from the community to add some additional skins. The Liveries have to be from real SEAT Leon Supercopas from any championship or season. A fascinating aspect of the VLN is the great variety of cars, which can´t be found at any other racing series in the world. To show this wide range in just one preview is impossible - you can discover it in using this mod after it's released. But the actual progress gives us the possibility to show you an interesting comparison of two very different cars, which will be presented in detail in one of the upcoming previews.
The Alpina B6 GT3 from the Allgäu, a car in the shape of a sumo-wrestler and with one and a half tons of fighting weight, dominates this scene with its monstrous appearance.
725Nm torque and 530 horse powers out of a V8 compressor, combined with a wide wheelbase and a lot of generated downforce, eject this heavy car to impressive driving performances."
Much more decent appears the last Cup-vehicle of the Cologne motorsport division of Ford. The Fiesta ST seems like a flea in comparison - and with hardly one ton live weight it really is one. Pushing the 1,6l four-cylinder in-line engine to the limiter, brings up to 170Hp out of it. This is enough to be just 2 minutes slower per lap, than the top-cars, like an Alpina.
Anyway the shorty could sometimes slip into the diffusor of an Alpina. Especially in tight turns the midget shows his agility, lifting his inner rear wheel in a spectacular way. According to a popular saying: "Who want to take a leak with the big dogs, has to lift his leg".
Matthi (Alpina) and Paule (Fiesta) were responsible for the implementation of these two cars.

Some time ago we introduced our 3d-models of the different Mercedes-Benz 190E to the community. Meanwhile our 2D-artists made their contribution to the "Baby-Benz" and recreated the vehicles' designs, stickers and details.

Polehunters VLN Season 2011 |

On 03/19/2011, the Polehunters VLN-season 2011 starts, announcements are now accepted under www.polehunters.de.
RFactor is used with the proven and popular VLN2005 Mod by NLC modding team.
The regulations will reveal interesting races and a thrilling championship.
Some basic data about this:
- Race length alternating 90 minutes and 120 minutes, the final race covers a distance of 180 minutes
- Double wear at the 90 minute race and the final race
- Free choice of vehicle and change of vehicle and class to every race possible
- Scoring follows the original VLN-scoring-system makes it less attractive to an overall victory, but places a class victory in a strongly contested category more efficient for the championship
- A high damage level of 50% is to ensure a moderate driving style
